The Cookie Logic Show is Coming to The Valley’s CW WHDF Channel 15!

This Fall  join us Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. on The Valley’s CW!  If you can’t join us on Sundays you can DVR us or you can watch the show on our website after it airs on Sunday!  (Premiering September 30)

A small Alabama town strives to create the perfect almost reality talk show with a cast of colorful, quirky characters and an often over-the-top but endearing storyline. Set, from all appearances, in a sweet Southern town by the picturesque Tennessee River, The Cookie Logic Show depicts the almost real life of Cookie Stoner, a sassy, talkative soccer mom who dreams of being the star of the perfect talk show. She thinks she must be getting closer now that she is on the network that has such favorites as The Office, Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie, America’s Top Model & Judge Judy.  She can’t wait to meet all of her new celebrity friends!

Surprising, zany conflicts arise from Cookie and her cast that include Cookie’s own college age daughter studying to be an actress, a newly single forty something southern belle, a country boy football-loving retired lawyer and a pleasant, but out-of-place in the deep South, Jewish lady from New York. To add to the comic trauma, overly excited, Kelly from Orlando is asked to direct The Cookie Logic Show with a small production crew run by her exasperated-with-small-town-option’s, husband, Erle.  There will be some new characters arriving to help Cookie create the perfect show.  A new “Voice,” a funny lawyer, real music, real guests, real useful information and entertainment will abound on Cookie’s talk show, as Cookie and her show crew deal with the almost reality dilemmas of creating the perfect talk show in a perfectly assorted world of dreaming big in a small town.

The Cookie Logic Show will join the CW (The Valley’s CW)  WHDF Channel 15 Sundays at 10:30 a.m. beginning September 30.

Kelly Hughes grew up in a scenic Florida coastal town that served to be one of her best creative classrooms while she learned to be observant in a quiet, beautiful coastal setting. As an adult, Kelly wrote articles for the Lakeland Ledger, a New York Times newspaper affiliate. She eventually decided to join her husband Erle in business and began to apply her story telling abilities toward video editing and script development. Kelly enjoys keeping her video work in style by subscribing to current video information networks and staying connected to the video community. Here’s an interesting fact about Kelly: As a young girl at 17, she marked one of her favorite poems in a poetry book given to her as a Christmas gift by her parents. The poem was written by James Russel Lowell and called The Fountain. A few months later, a family member came to Kelly’s home with a family history book they had researched and complied. The book reveled that Kelly was related to James Russell Lowell, the author of her favorite poem, as well as Robert Lowell, one of the founders of the American confessional poetry movement and writer and Pulitzer Prize winner, Amy Lowell.

The Cookie Logic TV Show is excited about this new chapter in our lives and we hope you will join us for some fun this Fall!
